Alana and Alyssa

Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. The parents of De La Garza were from Ireland and Mexico. Her birthplace was in Columbus, Ohio, on December 26, 1976. De La Garza moved soon to Texas to study physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on diverse roles in independent local films, as well as worldwide commercials. Despite having small roles, she soon realized that she was drawn to acting. Then she moved into New York and in 2001 she landed her first acting gig on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the first half of 2000 she had small parts on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she was cast as her first part of a series in The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza had the pleasure of working with some great TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggeggi. In 2006, she was cast as A.D.A. in Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in The Law & Order: LA brief-lived sequel. De La Garza's character received several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. She won an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on the dramatic TV series of National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time after. She performed the role of Marisol Deko in the role of husband of David Caruso's Horatio. As the character Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. It was pulled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger brother Cory is 10 years older than her. Her family was an orthodox, religious family. Milano's professional career started at seven, as her babysitter invited her to a talent show. Four of the four girls chosen from over 1,000 applicants were Milano. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway shows, including the American premiere musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
